Both of my parents made sure that they taught me the value of a dollar at a very young age. While all of my friends were being given everything they wanted, I had to work for everything that I ever got. When I was in high school I bought my first Used Renault all by myself. My parents did not have to pay one dime for that car. They did help me pay for the car insurance each month, if I kept my grades up in school. I thought that it was a great deal for both me and my parents.
